Since we have been having beautiful wheather here in VA , we did a small nature study with the boys. Lauren and I then went on a nature hike ( more on that later).
We started by reading The Carrot Seed!
The boys decided to use their magnify glasses to get a better look at the book
We then took the magnify glasses
and a handy dandy pocket microscope ( very cool).
We then took a closer look at some items!
a feather,
some butterflies,
and birdseed
We then planted our very own carrot seeds!
The boys then did a fun work folder that Mom had made!
you had to sort the carrots by small and big!
we then enjoyed popsicles
and a game of croqet!
