Tomorrow is my first day of public school!!!!!! I'll be attending Spotswood High school and no offense to Turner Ashby or Harrisonburg High, but Spotswood is the best high school in the state of Va. I wouldn't say I'm nervous, but I wouldn't say I'm excited I'm um I don't know!!! And not knowing is becoming very frustrating. I know I'm not nervous I mean I have no reason to be I know where my classes are, I met my teachers, several of my friends from church are either already going to Spotswood or are in my grade. And I know I'm not excited I mean it's kinda hard to be when you have to get up at 6:00am every morning and then go catch a bus do 6 1/2 hours of school just sitting in a desk listening to a teacher giving a lecture on something. Going home and having homework that will take 2-3 hours and then repeating the whole thing the next day. Not my idea of exciting. I would personally like to keep being home schooled. It's easy to be excited about that: for starters I don't have to get up early, I can sleep in; I don't have to catch a bus; my teacher is my mom ( best teacher in the world) And I don't have to worry about homework or getting to class on time. Apparently they reduce points from your grade if you're tardy. Yeah, if I had to pick one I would definitely have to go with number 2. Unfortunately I don't have that choice! :( Wish me luck I'll let you know how the first day went!!!!!
